お茶を習い始めた時に先生から「利休七則」の紙を頂きました。
利休七則(りきゅうしちそく)
茶は服(ふく)のよきように、炭(すみ)は湯の沸(わ)くように、夏は涼(すず)しく冬は暖(あたた)かに、花は野にあるように、刻限は早めに、降(ふ)らずとも雨の用意、相客(あいきゃく)に心せよ。

お茶を習っていた父の漫画「千利休」に書いてあって、とても心に残っています。
日焼け防止の為、通勤時には必ず晴雨兼用の折りたたみ傘を持ち歩いてるのですが、昨日は本当に久しぶりに傘を家に置いてました。
会社を出ると、雨。
…。
利休七則を思い出しながら、駅まで走りました。

When I started learning Chado, my master gave me the paper written Rikyu’s seven rules.
Rikyu’s seven rules
Make a satisfying bowl of tea; Lay the charcoal so that the water boils efficiently; Arrange the flowers as though they were in the field; Provide a sense of coolness in the summer and warmth in the winter; Be ready ahead of time; Be prepared in case it should rain; Act with utmost consideration toward your guests.
I read comics about SEN Rikyu and knew the seven rules when I was a child. So, I always bring my folding sunshade umbrella when commuting.
However, I forgot my umbrella yesterday.
It was rain when I was out of the office. I ran to the station in raining thinking the seven rules. LOL
